Dr. Sania Nishtar, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), said disciplinary action will be taken against the beneficiaries of Grade 17 and above from this program launched for the poor.
In a tweet on the social networking website Twitter, he said that 2,543 officers of Grade 17 had been enrolled in this social program to help the extreme poor classes. They have now been removed and the Social Security Network has initiated disciplinary action against these officers. In this regard, BISP has written to provincial chief secretaries and federal ministries. The officers whose registrations were registered in the Income Support Program were informed that action was being taken against them.
